Week 3: vs. New Orleans Saints

In the offseason, the Saints signed three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr to breathe life into an offense with capable talent at every spot. They also brought in Jamaal Williams, who led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in 2022 (17), serving them especially well with Alvin Kamara suspended for their first three games.

With two-time All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas at full health and second-year receiver Chris Olave ascending into a star, the skill players will again pose the most significant threat to a Green Bay victory.

Tight end Juwan Johnson is also at Carr's disposal. Packers fans will remember his two-touchdown performance to open the 2021 season.

In 2022, the converted wide receiver took a significant leap, thrusting his stat line to seven touchdowns and 42 receptions. With fellow tight end Foster Moreau stepping away from the team to open the season, Johnson will be heavily involved again in 2023.

Carr's presence should elevate all these players to perform better than they did in 2022, with Andy Dalton primarily filling quarterback responsibilities.

With the Saints' collective group on offense, this should be the most challenging passing attack to shut down for Joe Barry's defensive unit in the early goings.
