The Green Bay Packers finally ended their losing run, winning an ugly game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9. However, we didn't learn much about Jordan Love.

Packers fans have been hoping for a true breakout performance from Love. Despite Green Bay winning comfortably and Love posting good numbers, it was more of the same from the Packers' former first-round pick.

Love completed 20 of 26 passes for 228 yards and one touchdown without an interception. He earned a passer rating of 115.5.

However, it was another up-and-down performance.

Jordan Love's inconsistent play continues despite Packers victory

The Packers supported Love with dominant defense and a run-heavy game plan. Green Bay held Los Angeles to three points while the Packers ran the ball 38 times, including 20 carries for Aaron Jones.

When Love had to throw, the results were mixed. He did a lot well. Love made some impressive throws, particularly in the second half, including an 18-yard connection with Dontayvion Wicks, then a 25-yard pass to Luke Musgrave on the next play.

But there were also some of the same issues we've seen all season.

Love should've found Christian Watson for a touchdown in the second quarter. Watson beat his defender and was open for a deep shot downfield. Love completely under-threw the pass, resulting in a breakup. It should've gone for a touchdown.

The Packers didn't need Love to play at an elite level to win this game. They leaned heavily on the rushing attack. Even then, the offense had its issues. They were held to seven first-half points, which came on a drive that started on the Rams' 41-yard line after a turnover.

Green Bay's defense ensured Los Angeles couldn't get anything going. Love had to manage the game, which he did. But he didn't do anything to prove he's the Packers' long-term answer at QB, in part because the team didn't ask him to do a ton in this game.

It was a positive performance by the Packers, including Love. The defense dominated and the offense showed signs of improvement overall. However, we didn't learn much about Love despite the win.
