Round 3 (78): Jonathan Mingo, WR, Ole Miss

A year ago, it felt like the Packers had to draft Christian Watson. He checked every box of a perfect Packers wide receiver. Fortunately, Green Bay agreed, trading up to get Watson early in the second round.

This year, Ole Miss receiver Jonathan Mingo is that player.

Mingo meets the Packers' size and athletic thresholds. He is 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, with a Relative Athletic Score of 9.86 out of 10.

With his size and speed, Mingo has big-play ability. The Packers will love his physicality, especially when it comes to blocking. Allen Lazard played a vital role as a blocker. He's gone, but Mingo is more than capable of taking on those duties.

Mingo checks the boxes of size, speed, athleticism, and physicality. What about production? With 51 catches for 861 yards and five touchdowns at Ole Miss last season, Mingo showed what he could do.

When looking for wide receiver help in this year's draft, the Packers should seriously consider Jonathan Mingo in the early rounds. He has everything Green Bay looks for at wide receiver. He would perfectly complement Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs and is an ideal replacement for Allen Lazard.

In the third round, this could be the pick of the draft.
