Simone Biles had the perfect response to Packers fumble recovery vs. Rams

The Green Bay Packers are actually winning a football game in the first half, and they have the support of four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.

Green Bay's defense has stepped up against a Los Angeles Rams team missing starting quarterback Matthew Stafford. Backup Brett Rypien has struggled to get anything going, even against a Packers defense without Rasul Douglas, Eric Stokes, Darnell Savage, Quay Walker, and Rudy Ford.

The Packers' offense has made an up-and-down start, but the defense is making the most of Stafford's absence in Week 9.

Simone Biles is supporting the Packers this season after her husband Jonathan Owens signed with the team in the spring. And she is loving Owens' first-half performance.

Jonathan Owens made one of the plays of the game so far, forcing a fumble on Rams quarterback Brett Rypien. De'Vondre Campbell recovered, setting the Packers up in great field position. It led to Green Bay's opening score of the game and the team's first touchdown in the opening two quarters since Week 2.

Moments later, Biles showed her support to Owens and the Packers on X (formerly Twitter).

Biles is one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, and she has been supporting the Packers all season. Biles was in attendance at Lambeau Field last week during the team's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Owens started the game at safety, with the Packers dealing with injuries to Darnell Savage and Rudy Ford. And he has put in a strong first-half performance, making two tackles, one sack, one QB hit, and the crucial forced fumble that led to Green Bay's first touchdown of the game.

Hopefully, the Packers can end their four-game losing streak and win their first game since their Week 3 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
