MVS revenge game against Packers
The Packers are fully aware of Marquez Valdes-Scantling's game-changing potential. From his 50-yard touchdown in the NFC Championship Game to a 75-yard score on the first play of the drive against the Minnesota Vikings, MVS can significantly impact a game in one moment.
He will have a point to prove on Sunday Night Football. Valdes-Scantling made some great memories in Green Bay, but the team didn't bring him back when his rookie contract expired. MVS could now punish the Packers' defense, and he has the league's best quarterback throwing his way.
That said, MVS hasn't made the impact he would've hoped for so far this season. In 11 games, Valdes-Scantling has caught only 15 passes for 248 yards and one touchdown while also dropping two passes. One of those drops came late in the Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. MVS was wide open for the potential go-ahead touchdown with less than two minutes remaining, but he dropped it.
On another day, Valdes-Scantling makes that catch. And it could happen on Sunday. The Packers understand the impact MVS can make, and they need to ensure he doesn't have a big game on his return to Lambeau Field in Week 13.
