4. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

Christian Watson hasn't done enough yet to earn a spot higher in the top five, but it might not take long.

Watson's rookie season started with a dropped catch on what would've been a 75-yard touchdown. As frustrating as it was for Watson and the Packers, it showed his potential. On his very first NFL play, Watson beat eight-time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson in coverage. The hard part was done. Watson was wide open.

A lack of confidence and bad injury luck limited Watson in the first half of the season. But everything changed after a three-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys.

Watson showed the tremendous upside he brings to the Packers' offense.

Playing in six of the Packers' opening nine games, Watson made just 10 catches for 88 yards. Green Bay's offense averaged 17.1 points per game and the team went 3-6.

In the final eight games, Watson made 31 receptions, 523 yards, seven touchdowns, and added a rushing touchdown. The Packers averaged 27 points per game and the team went 5-3.

Watson has game-changing ability. Along with his elite athleticism, size, and speed, he showed an ability to make tough, contested catches, get open, and make huge plays. If Watson makes a jump in year two, look out.
