Updated Packers roster, depth chart ahead of 2023 NFL Draft

To this point, the story of the Green Bay Packers' offseason has been more about players leaving than joining.

Allen Lazard, Jarran Reed, Dean Lowry, and Robert Tonyan are among the Packers free agents to find new teams, while Aaron Rodgers will soon be a former Packer, too.

But the Packers will add talent to their roster in the 2023 NFL Draft. Entering the draft with various positions of need, it's hard to predict which direction the team will go in each round.

Packers updated roster, depth chart entering 2023 NFL Draft

Below is a projected depth chart for the Packers before the 2023 NFL Draft. It's interesting to look at the team's depth at each position and identify the biggest areas of need.

Note: Aaron Rodgers is still under contract, but we assume he will be traded soon, so haven't included him.

The Packers' roster and depth chart will look a lot different in a couple of weeks following the 2023 NFL Draft. It will be interesting to see how Green Bay addresses positions of need, such as wide receiver, tight end, edge rusher, and safety, if at all.

Decisions made in the draft will have a direct impact on the depth chart, potentially creating roster battles over the summer.
