Jordan Love is off to a fast start in the Green Bay Packers preseason.

Matt LaFleur chose the play the majority of Green Bay's starters in the team's preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, with Love getting valuable reps with the offense.

LaFleur has avoided playing starters in the preseason in previous years, but that has changed this summer. With a young roster, especially on offense, it's important to get as many snaps as possible. It may help the Packers avoid making a slow start to the regular season as they have in recent years.

And they have been impressive in the opening quarter against the Bengals. Love found Romeo Doubs for a touchdown pass that Aaron Rodgers would be proud of.

Love missed out on third down on the Packers' opening possession, but he made up for it on the next attempt, finishing off an impressive drive with a beautiful touchdown pass.

After a nice 11-yard gain from AJ Dillon, the Packers turned to play-action. Love floated a pass perfectly into the corner of the end zone to find Romeo Doubs, who is quickly becoming Love's favorite target.

Doubs has been a go-to target for Love throughout training camp, so it's no surprise to see them connect in the preseason.

Christian Watson is showing signs of a potential breakout season, but Doubs has been equally as impressive and is a candidate to lead the Packers in receptions.

The Packers will be delighted to see Love and Doubs connecting early in the preseason.
