Predicting the Packers' final four games as they zero in on No. 1 seed

The Packers have one of the toughest overall schedules over the final four weeks of the regular season.

Since taking back-to-back losses to the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles in early November, the Green Bay Packers haven't taken a defeat since.

After a three-game stretch that included victories over the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions, the Packers moved into first place in the NFC North this past Sunday with a 28-21 win over a Chicago Bears team that had won nine of its previous 10.

The test now, of course, is whether Green Bay can maintain that position. Yes, at 9-3-1, the Packers are in great shape heading into the final four weeks of the season. But while they currently hold the No. 2 seed in the NFC, they're not that far away from the seventh and final playoff slot, which now belongs to the Bears at 9-4. And the Lions, who sit in the No. 8 position, are still in the mix in both the division race and the wild-card race at 8-5.

So, there's certainly plenty of work for the Packers to do down this final stretch. And with that in mind, let's predict how these final four weeks will play out.

Game-by-game picks for the Packers in the final four weeks of the regular season

Week 15 at Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are on an absolute tear right now, winning 10 straight after getting off to a 1-2 start to the season. And dating back to last season, they've won 11 straight games at home. So, this will obviously be a tough test for Green Bay.

Here's the thing, though. It's not as if the Broncos are blowing teams out. In fact, since taking a 20-point victory over the Dallas Cowboys back in Week 8, Denver has won only one game by more than three points, and that was a seven-point victory just this past Sunday over the lowly Las Vegas Raiders.

And the week prior, they needed overtime to get past the three-win Washington Commanders, sneaking away with a one-point win by stopping a two-point conversion in the extra frame. So, if I'm being honest, I'm not completely sold on this team just yet. As such, I'm calling for the Packers to go in and break both of the Broncos' streaks.

Prediction: Packers win, 28-17 (10-3-1)

Week 16 at Chicago Bears

l've been unhappy with the NFL since the 2025 schedule was released, as I think it's ridiculous that the Packers and Bears are playing twice in a three-week stretch, but there's obviously nothing that can be done about that.

The Bears are obviously better than they've been in recent years, but before their Black Friday win over the Philadelphia Eagles, they'd only beaten one team that currently owns a winning record. And that was a Pittsburgh Steelers squad that had Mason Rudolph at quarterback, not Aaron Rodgers. And even then, Chicago, at home, still only won by three.

The Bears undoubtedly gave the Packers all they could handle this past Sunday, and another close game is likely in the cards for Week 16 at Soldier Field. But the result will be the same, as Green Bay completes the season sweep.

Prediction: Packers win, 24-20 (11-3-1)

Week 17: vs. Baltimore Ravens

The lone remaining home game for the Packers over these final four weeks comes in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.

In recent years, of course, seeing the Ravens on the schedule, especially this late in the season, would strike fear into any team fighting for a playoff spot. But let's not pretend that Baltimore has that same effect right now.

Yes, they deserve all the credit in the world for putting themselves back in contention after a woeful 1-5 start, a start that included losing Lamar Jackson for several weeks. But even with Jackson back in the lineup, they're just not the dominant team they've been over the last few years.

Just this past Sunday, with first place in the AFC North on the line, the Ravens couldn't get the job done against the Steelers, losing 27-22. And a week earlier, they took a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. So, they're obviously not playing great football at the moment.

Perhaps they'll be playing better when Week 17 rolls around, but they're not beating Green Bay.

Prediction: Packers win, 31-13 (12-3-1)

Week 18 at Minnesota Vikings

The Packers had absolutely zero problems with the Vikings back in Week 12, with the Green Bay defense holding Minnesota to a season-low 145 total yards and sacking J.J. McCarthy five times en route to an easy 23-6 victory.

It's no secret that McCarthy has struggled throughout the season (when healthy, of course), but to his credit, he did just put on the best overall performance of his young career in the Vikings' 31-0 win over Washington last week. And assuming he stays upright, he'll have a few more starts under his belt when the Packers come to town to close out the season.

But while he might play better than he did in Week 12, he's not leading the Vikings to victory here. Yep, that's right, I'm calling for the Packers to run the table.

Prediction: Packers win, 27-10 (13-3-1)
