The Green Bay Packers are no longer undefeated, so of course, the critics have come out. Following the team’s surprising 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, many are questioning what went wrong, and some are already arguing that the honeymoon phase is over with defensive star Micah Parsons.

The most vocal critic of that belief is Skip Bayless. A Dallas Cowboys fan, Bayless has been loud about how he feels Parsons is overrated. Aside from Jerry Jones, he was probably the only other person who supported Dallas trading the edge defender. Understanding that, it was a given that Bayless would have something to say after Green Bay’s first loss.

The sports analyst took to social media on Sunday night with a 19-minute video, covering several topics from Week 3 games. About two minutes into the video, Bayless says he watched Green Bay lose to Cleveland, and he wasn’t surprised. He followed that up by sending a message to Packers fans that “Micah will slowly reveal himself to be not what [Green Bay] thinks he is,” emphasizing that Parsons was outplayed by Myles Garrett.

Skip Bayless argues Micah Parsons will disappoint Packers

Bayless clearly has an axe to grind with Parsons, for whatever reason, so his judgment is clouded when it comes to the defender.

Parsons, who finished Sunday’s game with two tackles and two quarterback hits, wasn’t the problem on Sunday. Green Bay’s defense as a whole had another good outing, limiting Cleveland to just 13 points. Ten of those points came in the final three-and-a-half minutes after an interception and a blocked field goal set the Browns up for easy scores.

In other words, Bayless bringing up Parsons was pointless. The defender has been as advertised while playing limited snaps, and he will soon be playing without limitations. That could be on Sunday night when he returns to Dallas, where he’ll certainly try to send a message to the Cowboys, Bayless, and any other critics.
