Some things never change. The Chicago Bears have already declared themselves the March Super Bowl Champs for the fifth straight year, while Aaron Rodgers is at the center of the offseason storm.
Rodgers has the NFL world awaiting his decision.
Any dreams of taking the full Brett Favre career arc by signing with the Minnesota Vikings appear to fade with each passing day, making it a straight-up choice between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.
Life's too short to spend several months each offseason wondering when the former Green Bay Packers MVP will step off the quarterback carousel, but here we are. Not everyone enjoys Aaron Rodgers Watch, including a potential soon-to-be teammate.
Cam Heyward sends a blunt message to Aaron Rodgers about possible interest in Steelers
Joining seven-time Pro Bowler Cam Heyward is one of the selling points for Rodgers to sign with the Steelers. However, Heyward is not interested in waiting for a decision from the four-time MVP.
Heyward's message is clear: Rodgers either wants to play for the Steelers or he doesn't.
"I ain't doing that darkness retreat. I don't need any of that crap," Heyward said on the Not Just Football podcast. "Either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don't. That's simple, that's the pitch. If you want me to recruit, that's the recruiting pitch. Pittsburgh Steelers — if you want to be part of it, so be it. If you don't, no skin off my back."
Message sent.
He has a point. Unless Rodgers is holding out fading hope to sign with the Vikings, what's the holdup? It's simple: Steelers or Giants? It's not like Mike Tomlin and Brian Daboll have surprised Rodgers with a choice at the last minute. He's had months to contemplate his future and must've known these two teams could become possible landing spots.

Now, those teams are missing opportunities to sign other veterans while awaiting Rodgers' decision.
Packers fans endured this wait-and-see game for multiple years. Rodgers sat out an entire offseason, returned for training camp, aired his grievances, and returned to Green Bay in the most dramatic way imaginable.
The Rodgers-to-Jets trade dragged out weeks longer than it should've — not his fault this time, to be fair.
But here we are again. What will Rodgers decide? It's the never-ending movie we've seen far too many times. Many have grown tired of the waiting game, including a player Rodgers could soon join in Pittsburgh.
