The Green Bay Packers still desperately need pass-rush help, and one trade idea for T.J. Watt would solve that (while also breaking the internet).

Packers fans have never stopped dreaming of Watt one day returning to Wisconsin and wearing the green and gold. His recent contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers has offered some hope, with Adam Schefter of ESPN reporting that "multiple teams have been discussing" whether it could be possible to trade for Watt.

Mitchel Milani of Bleacher Report put together a list of blockbuster trade packages it could take to land Watt, and his pitch for the Packers would certainly steal the headlines:

It's bold. It's wild. And it might just work.

Bleacher Report's Packers-Steelers trade proposal for T.J. Watt could actually work for both teams

The Steelers likely won't listen to offers for Watt unless it is something of this magnitude. They are all-in to win with Aaron Rodgers, and giving away an all-world talent like Watt doesn't help their Super Bowl push.

Extending Watt's deal remains the most likely option in Pittsburgh, but if those conversations continue to stall? Perhaps an offer like this would get it done. The Packers would land the game-changer they need on defense, but the Steelers would receive a ton of value in return.

Romeo Doubs would fix a need at wide receiver, giving Rodgers an ideal WR2 to pair with DK Metcalf and tight end Jonnu Smith, whom they just traded for. Lukas Van Ness hasn't proven himself at the NFL level, but he still offers first-round upside. Pittsburgh would also receive two premium picks to help remain in contention beyond the Rodgers era.

The Packers would show some real urgency by giving away a first and a third, but adding Watt could take Jeff Hafley's defense to another stratosphere. They have the wide receiver depth to handle Doubs' departure, and a move to the Steelers makes a lot of sense for the former fourth-rounder.

Packers fans famously pounded the table for the team to draft Watt, who showed his star potential for Wisconsin, only to watch them trade down for Kevin King. Fans got this one right, with Watt etching his name among the pass-rushing greats.

Green Bay trading for Watt remains a massive long shot, and we shouldn't count on it happening. But Milani's proposal is a fair one, and if Watt surprisingly becomes available, this might be the type of deal it takes.

A gamble? Sure, but making a trade like this could launch the Packers into the Super Bowl conversation.
