The Green Bay Packers hope to move to 3-0 in Week 3, but they have to get past the Cleveland Browns first if they want to get to that mark. The Packers only managed three points in the first half of the game, but they potentially could have added more in the final seconds.
Unfortunately, Xavier McKinney's interception off Joe Flacco ended up actually hurting the Packers, as strange as that sounds. Typically, whenever you pick off the opposing quarterback, it's an amazing thing because it takes possession away from that team and gives your team the ball.
In this case, however, the Browns were going for it on 4th-and-8 on the Packers' 43-yard line with 12 seconds to go in the half. Cleveland was probably hoping to get into field goal range and tie the game up right before the half, but that didn't go in their favor, as McKinney got the pick and the Packers got the ball back.

What McKinney should have done in this situation, though, was knock the ball down, because it was fourth down. Knocking down the pass would have still meant the Browns turned the ball over on downs, and Green Bay would have gotten the ball on its own 43-yard line.

While the Packers probably wouldn't have had the distance or time to attempt a field goal to go up 6-0, having the ball on their own 43-yard line would have at least presented an opportunity to try a Hail Mary to end the half. That's at least a better chance of putting points on the board than what they faced by getting the ball on their own 4-yard line.
It's hard to be too mad at McKinney here, considering he made a good play on the ball, but if the Packers do somehow go on to narrowly lose this game, some fans might be a little more upset about this particular moment.
