It appears the Packers could miss out on defensive tackle Colin Cole, who looks poised to end up with the Seattle Seahawks or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Free agency kicks off in a matter of hours, meaning that chaos is about to ensue.  Will Albert Haynesworth get the largest contract in history?  What about the Packers?  What will they do? Only time will tell.  Hopefully I’ll be able to make some sense of this mess tomorrow.

Ohio State cornerback Malcolm Jenkins, whom most people have the Packers picking with their No. 9 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, may have ran himself out of that spot with his performance at the 2009 NFL Combine. Jenkins underwhelmed scouts with his speed, which was measured between 4.52 and 4.59 in the 40-yard dash. Today former Packers quarterback Brett Favre announced he was retiring from the NFL and the New York Jets. Before I say anything else, I’d like to say “Good riddance.
