2) Tight End

It doesn’t look likely Jermichael Finley will return to Green Bay, or even be the same player after this season, for that matter.

He suffered a possible career-ending spinal injury in October, and even if he recovers from surgery and is cleared to play in the NFL again, I’m not sure the Packers will deal out the type of money Finley may demand.

The Packers have clearly lacked an offensive weapon over the middle of the field with both Finley and Randall Cobb sidelined. Andrew Quarless has improved as the season has progressed, but he has also struggled as a run blocker and still has a ways to go in carving out a role in the offense.

Even if Green Bay goes with Quarless at tight end next year, the Packers could use more depth at the position. They’ve gotten very little production from the other tight ends on the roster.
