The Green Bay Packers already know their opponents for the 2024 season and most of their matchups for the two seasons after that.

Green Bay took fans on a rollercoaster ride during the first year of the Jordan Love era. After a rough start, the team bounced back to finish 6-2 down the stretch before eliminating the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

After establishing themselves as contenders in the NFC, the Packers aim to take the next step. They will hope to win a championship over the next three seasons.

But which teams stand in their way? Below are the upcoming opponents for the Packers in 2024 and beyond.

Green Bay will play against Philadelphia at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil to begin the season. It's a Week 1 game on Friday, September 6.

The Packers benefit from playing nine games at Lambeau Field in the regular season. It will be the first time since the NFL added a 17th game to the schedule. In 2022, Green Bay played its ninth home game in London.

Green Bay will play the entire NFC West, two at home and two on the road. It also meets the teams that finished second in the NFC South (New Orleans), NFC East (Philadelphia), and AFC East (Miami).

Lambeau Field will host some fascinating matchups in 2024, including a divisional-round rematch when the 49ers come to town. The Packers will also meet C.J. Stroud and the Texans. It won't be easy on the road, with challenging games against the Eagles, Rams, and Seahawks to come.

The Packers must upgrade their roster this offseason to give them a shot at double-digit wins in 2024.

The Packers already know 14 of the 17 teams they will play against in 2025. They will play eight games at home and nine on the road.

Green Bay will take on all four teams in the NFC East, as well as the team that finishes in the same position as the Packers in the NFC South, NFC West, and AFC West.

The home schedule could be challenging. Lamar Jackson's Ravens, Joe Burrow's Bengals, and a Commanders team likely with either Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels will come to Lambeau Field. The Packers also get another road matchup against the Cowboys—will Mike McCarthy still be the head coach?

If Aaron Rodgers is still playing for the Jets in 2026, he will get an opportunity to take on the Packers at MetLife Stadium. Green Bay will meet all four teams from the AFC East and NFC South. They will also host a team from the AFC South, giving the Packers an additional home game.

A lot will change between now and then, but for now, the standout home games are matchups with the Bills and Dolphins. And, of course, the road matchup against the Jets could be must-see if Rodgers is still playing.

Why do Packers play nine home games in 2024?

The NFL introduced a 17-game regular season in 2021, which means half the league plays an additional home game and the other half plays one more road matchup. This is rotated each season based on conference. In 2024, it's the NFC's team to host nine games.

The additional game is always an AFC vs. NFC matchup. The Packers will host the Miami Dolphins in 2024 because both teams finished second in their respective divisions. Green Bay will play an AFC West team in 2025, an AFC South team in 2026, and an AFC North team in 2027.

This will be Green Bay's first opportunity to play nine home games at Lambeau Field in the regular season. In 2021, the home game against the Giants was moved to London.

Could Packers play in the NFL International Series in 2024?

The Packers will play in the 2024 NFL International Series when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. The league announced the game will be played on Friday, September 6 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Green Bay doesn't have to give up a home game as it was scheduled to play Philadelphia on the road in 2024.

It likely rules out a return to Europe in one of the other international games this season. However, the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Jacksonville Jaguars are on the Packers' 2024 schedule, and they all host international games this season. Minnesota and Chicago will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Jacksonville continues to host games at Wembley Stadium.

With the Packers playing their opener in Brazil, it's unlikely the NFL will make them travel for another international game this year.

The NFL has announced the designated teams for the five international games in 2024:

  • São Paulo, Brazil: Eagles
  • London, England: Vikings, Bears, Jaguars
  • Munich, Germany: Panthers
