OK, Green Bay Packers fans – here’s a no-brainer.
This is something we’ve known for years, but has been formally recognized as fact – using an in-depth study and statistical analysis to back up the claims.
It was announced by WalletHub this week that the city of Green Bay was the best city in the country for football fans.

In all, there were 245 cities analyzed for the website known for studies on a variety of social and political issues.
Eighteen metrics, number of teams, average ticket prices, friendliness of the fans and even the number of sports bars per-capita were used by WalletHub to arrive at their conclusion.

So the Packers, long known as the Mecca of professional football, even beat out the many college cities that were included in the study … these are longtime hotbeds of college enthusiasm that have been known for the fans’ passion for the game and for their team.

Well, that “hotbed” of apathy in Chicago was ranked 18th; the bandwagon lovers in Minnesota ranked 24th and Detroit was ranked 61st, for obvious reasons.
