The Bestest With The Mostest Department:

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy

Best Record After the Bye Week. Packers. Under head coach Mike McCarthy the Packers are 6-1 following bye weeks. There are probably plenty of reasons for this, but I’m just hoping that this trend continues. With most of their injured players returning and a showdown game on tap it’s time for a dominant performance. Or in the absence of a dominant performance a W of any kind would be especially sweet.

Best Rookie Running Back Tandem. Packers. Even with the injuries to RB Eddie Lacy and the questions about RB Jonathan Franklin’s ability that surfaced during the preseason, the Packers knew what they were getting with both of these guys. They both have tremendous potential and both have showed that they have ability. Now it’s time to let them loose and finally start to reap the benefits of a respectable run game.

Ndamukong Suh stomps on Green Bay Packers offensive guard Evan Dietrich-Smith

Worst Personal Foul Penalties Committed in the NFL. Ndamukong Suh. All you have to do is watch the tape. The man is a menace. Every player on the field has to watch out for him and protect whatever he can when Suh comes near. I grew up watching NFL football and hearing stories about players like O lineman Conrad Dobler being “dirty”. In those days there weren’t 103 cameras on every game all season long. But I can’t for the life of me remember seeing a head stomp, groin kick, or dive at the knees quite as obvious as what Suh has done recently on any of those dusty old NFL Films reels. Either way I can only hope the outcome of this game isn’t affected by any plays like that and that nobody is maimed or injured by Suh. Does he even belong in the NFL? That’s a question that will be asked more stridently every time he does something that has no place in the game. At any level.
