The season for Atlanta is a wash. Matt Ryan looked amateur Sunday against the Cardinals’ defense, throwing his team out of any chance they had of mounting a comeback.

I commend Tony Gonzalez for not wanting to abandon his team, but he should have asked Arthur Blanks for a chance to jump ship. The defense is worse than it was last year and injuries have decimated the Falcons.

And, oh yeah, self-proclaimed Superman Cam Newton is visiting Sunday. Things are about to get bleak.
