Tight End
Starter: Martellus Bennett, CHI
After playing primarily as a backup the first four years of his career, Bennett has emerged as a legitimate receiving threat as a starter the past two years.
Last season, Bennett led all NFC North tight ends in receptions (65), receiving yards (759), and receiving touchdowns (5). Bennett also had 11 receptions of more than 20 yards in 2013 and proved to be a reliable target over the middle of the field in the Bears’ offense.
Reserve: Eric Ebron, DET
Ebron may have not played a single NFL down yet, but the rookie tight end was one of the most dynamic athletes coming out of college and seems like the ideal prototype for today’s tight end.
