An ACL injury cost Sam Bradford what might have been his marquee season. Prior to him going down in Carolina, Bradford was stellar with a 14 TD: 4 INT ratio.
The Rams trust in him was displayed all offseason refusing to draft a quarterback and sticking with the signal caller. Bad news knocked on the door once again with Bradford suffering the same injury to the same knee killing his chance for redemption before it even got started.
Now the Rams will battle it out in the NFC West with veteran Shaun Hill. Some may remember Hill playing valiantly in Detroit when Stafford was lost with a shoulder injury. Stedman Bailey will start the season serving a four game suspension.
Jeff Fisher and company continue to acquire his former Titans’ players this time signing Kenny Britt who has had his laundry list of discipline issues. The defense will need to be everything and some for the Rams to keep pace in the NFC. And that might not be an issue with the talent on that side of ball (i.e. Chris Long, Robert Quinn, James Lauranitis, Janoris Jenkins).
Catch my drift…
