Chip Kelly and his high-pace offense caught the NFL by storm in 2013. Its constant pace gave Lesean McCoy all the arsenal needed for a possible MVP type season. The real hero from last year was Nick Foles who stepped in for Michael Vick throwing 27 TD’s against 2 interceptions.
Wowzers right?
Now enter a healthy Jeremy Maclin and speedy. sure handed Darren Sproles and this offense may go to another level. The loss of Desean Jackson for whatever reason hurts big time, but the Eagles shouldn’t face much opposition from NFC East opponents.
The real key to how deep this team will go will be in the hands of the defense. A season ago they were laughingly embarrassing to stop opponents passing. It is probably a good thing that Chip has such a high paced offense to wear opponents down because their defense gave up yards and touchdowns like it was a hobby.
An improvement there and the Eagles could be a sleeper to win the NFC.
