RICK MORRISSEY
Packers 27-24

I know that the Bears are 2-1 and that the Packers are 1-2. I know that the Bears have looked good in back-to-back victories and that the Packers have looked listless on offense. But I can’t get past Jay Cutler’s 1-8 record against Green Bay. Or his 11 TDs and 17 interceptions in those games. I’m picky like that. Season: 1-2

Bears 28-27

I feel so good about myself, having finally picked the Bears to win—and they did!—that I know we’re on a roll. My army and I sense Aaron Rodgers finally playing like a normal human, and Jay Cutler staying calm. Plus, Trestman is not Lovie, and he fears no Cheesehead invasion. Onward, peeps! Season: 1-2

Bears 31- 28

With coach Marc Trestman and offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer, quarterback Jay Cutler finally has coaches who have helped him solve a Packers’ defense that had pummeled him for years. The Bears are ascending, as Trestman would say, and the Packers are reeling for various reasons.Season: 1-2

Though the Bears are improving, it seems like injuries are starting to catch up to them — Brandon Marshall’s ankle could be particularly problematic for an offense that has been good but not great so far. Bears caught a lot of breaks vs. the Jets. They’ll have to play much better to beat Aaron Rodgers.Season: 1-2

PATRICK FINLEY
Bears 31-28

I’m not sure the Packers won’t have the edge, the fear of a 1-3 start proving a grand motivator after their struggles against the Lions. But the Bears at home — and with a turnover-happy defense on a hot streak — will prove to be just good enough. Season: 1-2

I have no idea yet how good or mediocre the Packers or the Bears are, but I know the recent history between these two clubs. And I just can’t see the Packers at 1-3, nor can I keep picking the Bears as the injuries mount. Lots of offense, very little “D.” Until Cutler proves he can beat Rodgers, it’s the Packers. Season: 1-2
