Pass Protection

The offensive line must have heard my cries about giving Rodgers time in the pocket because they were on point against the Bears defensive front (granted, it was sans Jared Allen, Henry Melton and Julius Peppers).

Center Corey Linsley is looking solid at center, caught a glimpse of David Bakhtiari fending off a hungry Bears lineman in Pro-Bowl style and Bryan Bulaga gets healthier every week.

Rodgers had “all day” in the pocket on Sunday and was able to make plays with his feet when the pocket did collapse or the play broke down.

He worked in tandem with his offensive unit to make some spectacular plays and frustrate a tired Bears defense, heaving from the no-huddle.

I really liked the protection that I saw and it brought to light how awesome Aaron Rodgers and his receivers are in working together, when he has time to pick apart a defense.
