QB – Aaron Rodgers
Last week’s game gave us a pleasurable showing of what happens when this team is flowing well throughout.
With the offensive line putting in an overall strong effort (especially Corey Linsley at center; he dominated Linval Joseph), the running game finally making an impact and the defense manhandling the Christian Ponder-based Vikings’ offense, Rodgers got to have one of the easiest games he’s had in a long time.
He was able to take his time and find all sorts of openings to exploit, ending up with a relatively simple three TDs. Based on the domination it is hard to believe he only put up 156 yards, but with Lacy breaking out for the first time this year and the aforementioned promising defensive showing, he did not need to do any more.
As for this week, the Dolphins have a decent defense, one that can not only stop the run but potentially make an impact with their secondary. Oh, and don’t forget about Cameron Wake; he may be getting up there in age, but he is still one of the top pass-rushers in the league (and also of note, he had 3 sacks in the last meeting as well).
Despite the potential pitfalls this matchup brings, you can expect a decent performance by Rodgers here. He is obviously still at the top of his game as one of the best QBs the NFL has to offer and will give fans plenty more reasons to R-E-L-A-X.
Prediction: 300 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT
