RBs – Eddie Lacy, James Starks

Lacy has continued to not be able to really find last season’s groove, but he has been improving over the past few weeks. His touchdowns have been coming back, which has helped account for points while his yardage remains lukewarm.

Last week isn’t really a fair argument against him; with the domination the team showed early on, it didn’t really need him to run much and could keep him on a low carry number while giving Starks a decent amount of work.

They combined for 21 carries on the day, which is decent.

In a game where they may want to emphasize the run to keep Brees off of the field for a decent amount of time, we could see more of both of them. With the Packers expected to put up a sizable score, a couple touchdowns between them again (1 each last week) isn’t out of the question.

Prediction: 90 yards, TD (Lacy); 60 yards, TD (Starks)
Verdict: Must-Start (Lacy); Start-able (Starks)
