Secondary Improvements

One of the few silver linings on the Packers defense is the play of an improved secondary.

Last season, the Packers ranked near the bottom of the barrel in the safety spot, upgraded this year by the addition of Alabama safety and first round pick, Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix.

He’s been inconsistent overall – but at his worst is still an immense improvement over what it was. He is getting better, stronger and more confident every week.

Across from Morgan Burnett, with the healthy additions of Casey Hayward, Sam Shields and Tramon Williams, the secondary will far and away be the strong point of the Packers defensive unit.
