QB – Aaron Rodgers
Man, was that loss to New Orleans disappointing. But even worse than just the loss, Aaron Rodgers came up gimpy in the second half with what ended up being determined as a hamstring injury. That’s a potentially devastating injury to a club fighting for the playoffs, but also to any of the millions of fantasy owners out there who may have ended up without their star QB again just like last season.
It appears the bye week was enough to quell any issues and worry, as it seems he is healthy and should have no issues moving around. That’s prudent to how he usually plays – anyone watch how much things changed once he couldn’t move as freely against the Saints? (Yikes…) – and especially so with the injuries to Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang. They both have a decent chance to play (Sitton moreso than Lang), but with backups in the offense could potentially face a much more difficult challenge than usual.
The Bears look to be the classic desperation team too, where they throw everything at Green Bay to win; a loss all but kills their small chances at the division and playoffs.
Still … with Rodgers healthy and his receivers all playing well, you have to expect a big game. And I do.
Prediction: 350 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs
Verdict: Must-Start
