WRs – Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams

Last Week:
Nelson – 8 catches, 146 receiving yards, 2 TD; 11.30 fantasy points
Cobb – 4 catches, 58 receiving yards, 1 rush, -1 rush yards; 5.70 fantasy points
Adams – 1 catch, 6 receiving yards; 0.60 fantasy points

Jordy, Jordy, Jordy; it was a point I made in my Why They Won article earlier this week, but also where to look to see the majority of production from Green Bay’s receivers against the Falcons. Nelson continued to put up great games with another strong week that included almost 150 receiving yards and multiple TDs.

It doesn’t matter who covers him, Nelson almost always produces. Even matched up on Buffalo’s top corner, expect him to do some damage.

For this week, I could see Cobb being the more productive of the two however. He garnered modest production against the Falcons, but as mentioned before the Bills are weaker on short passes than basically anywhere else on the defense. Rodgers will surely know that and target his best underneath option a fair amount.

Adams has been pretty boom-or-bust for production all year; I’m thinking more bust for this game. It isn’t that he doesn’t have the skill to do better (he does). I just don’t think he’ll get too many opportunities here with most passes going to Nelson, Cobb and the RBs.

Plus, the Bills best CB (Corey Graham) spends plenty of time as a slot option and could end up matched with him plenty if he doesn’t stick to Cobb. That spells another lackluster game on Adams’ end.

Predictions:
Nelson – 5 catches, 90 receiving yards; 9.00 fantasy points
Cobb – 8 catches, 110 receiving yards, 1 TD; 18.00 fantasy points
Adams – 1 catches, 5 receiving yards; 1.00 fantasy points

Verdicts: Must-Start (Nelson/Cobb); Bench (Adams)
