15. player. 42. Like the New Orleans Saints, the San Francisco 49ers went into the 2014 season seen as Super Bowl contenders but majorly disappointed, failing to make the playoffs. Going for a defensive tackle in the first round may come as a surprise to some, but Malcom Brown is a talent that can offer a lot to the 49ers defense. The 49ers pride themselves on having a strong defensive line and if Justin Smith decides to retire, they could do with some reinforcements. Malcom Brown is an athletic big man and can play across the line in a 3-4 and 4-3 defense. At 6’2″ and 320 lbs, he has great size and power.. DT. Texas. Malcom Brown
