QB. Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 6. player. 30. The Jets need a lot of help on the offensive side of the ball. They do need more quality at wide receiver and running back, but it all starts with the quarterback. Some feel that Marcus Mariota could be the first overall pick, but if he makes to pick number six, new general manager Mike Maccagnan can’t afford to pass him up. It’s hard to trust Geno Smith after disappointing again in 2014, and Mariota could be the franchise quarterback they have been in desperate search for.
