Is Denver’s Terrance Knighton the solution to the Green Bay Packers need for a nose tackle with B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion set to hit free agency?

Knighton finished 2014 with 30 combined tackles, three pass defenses and two sacks, per ESPN Stats. He was apart of the Broncos’ rush defense that ranked second in the NFL last season.

As we approach free agency, we’ve been looking at potential targets for the Green Bay Packers. Below is a list of the recent free agent profiles:

Knighton was featured on 48.1 percent (520) of defensive snaps for the Broncos last season, according to Football Outsiders. That was the fourth-highest number of snaps for a defensive lineman on the team.

With the Packers needing serious improvements to their run defense, should Knighton be a target for general manager Ted Thompson?
