Two years ago, Greg Jennings swapped the Green Bay Packers for the Minnesota Vikings.

He is now once again a free agent – so the question needs to be asked: Should the Packers attempt to reunite with the veteran on a cap-friendly deal?

Jennings signed a five-year, $47.5 million deal with the Vikings in March 2013.

After trading for Mike Wallace yesterday, the Vikings sent a pretty clear message that change was on the way.

As a consequence and failure to reach a deal on a restructured contract, the Minnesota Vikings have released Jennings just two years into his deal.

Somewhere, Randall Cobb is smiling about his decision to stay in Green Bay.

Jennings spent seven years with the Packers, catching 425 passes for 6,537 yards and 53 touchdowns. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2010 and 2011, and was a major part of the Packers’ road to victory in Super Bowl XLV -athe caught two touchdowns in the game.

Since his departure, he has gone on to post 1,546 yards and 10 touchdowns from his 127 receptions.

His production has dropped, but that is expected when your quarterback is no longer named Aaron Rodgers.

Is a reunion really possible?

What could he still offer the Packers?
