4. Denzel Perryman, Miami

Perryman is a hard-hitting linebacker who made countless impact plays at Miami.

The 5-foot-11, 235-pound linebacker is exciting to watch. He is one of the most physical prospects at the position and lays it all on the field each and every game.

The hard-nosed linebacker is an excellent tackler in the open field and will routinely deliver a monster hit when meeting the ball carrier at the line.

Despite Perryman’s ability to make plays, there are plenty of concerns with his game.

Like Kendricks, Perryman is a bit undersized (5-11, 235) and may struggle in the middle as 3-4 inside linebacker. He may be better suited as a middle linebacker in a 4-3 defense, where he can swarm to the ball and not worry about taking offensive lineman head-on.

Even though he makes plenty of big plays against the run, Perryman also gets washed out of plays too often and struggles at times to get off blocks or hold his ground against the run.

Perryman also lacks top-end speed (4.78) and rarely makes plays outside of the tackles. He is only mediocre in coverage and can struggle in space.

Perryman is more of a mauler and is probably just a two-down player in the NFL.

Despite limitations to his game, however, he would still be a good pick for the Packers if they could get him in the third round.
