Once again we see the trend of defensive linemen and cornerbacks in the selections from NFL.com analysts. The four mockers selected two defensive linemen and a cornerback out of Wake Forest.
Here’s how their latest mocks look for the Packers:

Bucky Brooks: NT Jordan Phillips, Oklahoma
Lance Zierlein: DT Eddie Goldman, Florida St.
Charles Davis: CB Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest
Daniel Jeremiah: CB Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest
We’ve seen all four of these names by now, but clearly the mockers are all thinking along the same line: this Packers team is going defense first, and likely going defense heavy.
The Packers will be looking to fill needs at cornerback, defensive line and linebacker, and while the professional mockers may not completely agree on who they will select, they have definitely reached a consensus for the direction the pick is headed.
