In the NFL and for the Green Bay Packers, every victory is crucial and every loss is a setback.

Each year, however, there are a few highly anticipated games that stand out before the season starts.

More from Aaron Rodgers

For the Green Bay Packers, there will be no shortage of storylines heading into the 2015 season.

The Packers went 9-0 at home last season if you include the playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys. It will be a challenge to repeat that feat as the Packers face a number of tough games at Lambeau Field next season.

Then there are of course the divisional fixtures. These games mean a little more than the rest and can have major playoff implications.

The Packers went 5-1 in the NFC North Division last season, sweeping the series against the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears while avenging a Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions in the Week 17 division-clincher.

The schedule is set to be released this month. Though we don’t know the order yet, we are aware of the opponents the Packers will face next season.

Packers 2015 Schedule:

  • HOME: Chicago Bears; Detroit Lions; Minnesota Vikings; Kansas City Chiefs; San Diego Chargers; St. Louis Rams; Seattle Seahawks; Dallas Cowboys
  • AWAY: Chicago Bears; Detroit Lions; Minnesota Vikings; Denver Broncos; Oakland Raiders; Arizona Cardinals; San Francisco 49ers; Carolina Panthers

The Packers played the Seahawks and Cowboys in the playoffs last year, and had their season ended in the two years prior to the 49ers.

There are a number of storylines in those games.
