Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers

If there’s one team poised to make a run at an improved season, it’s the Carolina Panthers.

Yes, Green Bay easily beat the Panthers when the visited Lambeau Field in 2014, but it will be a different scenario when they head south in 2015 to meet the Panthers.

We all know the athleticism Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton brings to the field. He makes plays and sometimes seems like one man against the other 11.

Newton’s skills with his arm and legs can quickly tilt the field in favor of his team. And while the Packers’ defense controlled Newton in 2014, this coming season will be a new test.

Carolina won a lot of games in 2013 with their defense – a defense that seemed to go to sleep through much of 2014. Will that defense come alive in 2015 and challenge offensive juggernauts like the Packers bring?

We’ll have that answer when Aaron Rodgers and Co. hit the field.

Prediction: Packers 27 Panthers 20
