Packers’ Pick: Kyshoen Jarrett (Rounds 6-7)
Jarrett was a tackling machine in Virginia Tech’s defense, notching 89 stops in 2014 alone, and could be a solid depth player in the NFL.
He’s an intense, high-motor defensive back who is everything you look for in a key special teams contributor. He’d bring some fire to the Packers coverage units–something they’ll need if they don’t bring Jarrett Bush back for another season.

He’s also a guy the Packers could develop on their roster into a quality backup behind starters Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Morgan Burnett.
He’s only an adequate player in coverage, so he’ll have to have a limited role on a team. Despite this, coaches will love his attitude and the passion he brings to the game.
The competition between Chris Banjo and him for the last safety spot on the roster would be an exciting one to watch in camp this year.
