Aaron Rodgers says he wants to play 8 more years

31-year-old Aaron Rodgers told Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King that he in fact wanted to play eight more seasons in the NFL. Green Bay has had its fair share of drama when it comes to retiring quarterbacks but in saying eight years Rodgers would be 39 retiring after the 2022 season. All though it’s all speculation its a fun thing to look into. The numbers change often though as Rodgers said he wanted to play only eight more seasons after the 2012 season.

Retiring after the 2022 season would mark 30 years of Green Bay not having another full-time starter named Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers so that stat right there proves how lucky the franchise has been to have two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history regardless of what happens.
