NT Damon Harrison, New York Jets

Now this is the “wish” that I think would solidify the Packers defense in the middle.

Harrison has been one of the best nose tackles in the NFL since taking over as a starter in 2013 for the New York Jets.

Harrison is a premiere defender against the run using his large stature (6-4, 350 pounds) and exceptional quickness for his frame.

Harrison has been a fixture in the Jets 3-4 defense helping Sheldon Richardson become a rising star and by helping Muhammad Wilkerson solidify himself as one of the best 3-4 defensive ends in football.

While Harrison will come at a high cost, he would be worth every penny considering the impact that he would make on the line by demanding constant double teams.

Harrison would also be pivotal to excelling an already dominant Mike Daniels while also freeing up space for the blitzing linebackers.

While this will probably be the most unlikely move for the Packers to consider, it would reap the biggest rewards for the franchise.
