We are just four weeks away from the 2016 NFL Draft. Here’s the latest projections for the Green Bay Packers in all seven rounds.

We are now entering draft month at long last, which has to feel like Christmas time for Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson. This is the time of year he does his best work, and it’s by far the most important month on the calendar for him.

With such a strong emphasis on the Packers’ draft-and-develop philosophy, making the right decisions in April not only affects the current season, but potentially many years after. The draft is to build for the future, although recent selections have made instant impacts as rookies — David Bakhtiari, Corey Linsley and Damarious Randall are all shining examples.

How does the free agent acquisition of Jared Cook alter the Packers’ draft plans, if at all? What about the re-signing of James Starks and Nick Perry? Do these deals ease the pressure to find talent at running back and outside linebacker? Sure, but don’t be surprised if either position is addressed in the draft.
