Packers receive two compensatory picks in fourth round | Rob Demovsky of ESPN

This is a key part in the process for general manager Ted Thompson. After losing cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House in free agency a year ago, the Packers have been awarded with two compensatory draft picks in the fourth round. Thompson has used these extra picks in the past to select the likes of Mike Daniels, Josh Sitton and Richard Rodgers. They can be extremely valuable and gives the Packers flexibility in the draft.
