Week 1: @ Jacksonville Jaguars

An offense featuring quarterback Blake Bortles, wide receivers Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns and running backs Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon suddenly seems a dangerous unit. Playmakers are assembling on defense too for the Jaguars with free agent signing Malik Jackson and last year’s first-rounder Dante Fowler Jr. joining the party. Fowler missed all of his rookie season with a torn ACL.

The Jaguars are an ascending team, but the Packers should have too much for them even on the road. There will be a lot of green and gold in Florida on this afternoon and Green Bay should pick up the victory.

Prediction: Win (1-0)

Week 2: @ Minnesota Vikings

In the Minnesota Vikings’ incredible new home, the Packers are going to be up against it. Adrian Peterson as always is the man to stop, but the secondary may have its hands full if Teddy Bridgewater finally has some talent at wide receiver to throw to.

These two teams will be battling it out for the NFC North crown once again, and I envision them splitting the series as they did in 2015. This time though, both teams will get it done at home and the Vikings take a 1-0 record over Green Bay inside their new home.

Prediction: Loss (1-1)
