This is the seventh of a seven-part series. We continue the Lombardi Ave Packers mock draft with the writers’ seventh-round selections.

You can find the previous selections here: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4Round 5, Round 6.

Well this is it, the final round of our Lombardi Ave mock draft. So far there have been a whole variety of selections for the Green Bay Packers with our writers very rarely agreeing. That makes it all the more fascinating and highlights the various possibilities that can occur on draft day.

The seventh round is all about finding depth or a project. Jeff Janis was exactly that two years ago. Janis clearly had the speed, size and athleticism coaches covet, but he was coming out of a small school with a lot of work needed to be done on the intricacies of playing the wide receiver position. Janis was a project for the Packers, and one who continues to develop.

Janis was the last seventh-round selection for the Packers as they didn’t own one 12 months ago. In 2013, they selected wide receivers Charles Johnson and Kevin Dorsey as well as linebacker Sam Barrington. Barrington remains on the roster and is slated to start at inside linebacker in 2016.

Who are the Lombardi Ave writers going with in the seventh?
