ILB Kentrell Brothers, Missouri

Assuming Reggie Ragland is off the board way before the Packers pick at No. 57, they could go after another thumping inside linebacker in Kentrell Brothers out of Missouri.

Brothers has great vision to find the ball carrier and read the play. While he lacks great athleticism and doesn’t possess the same quality of Ragland, he could help shore up the inside linebacker position for the Packers and will be available later on.

Like Ragland, Brothers is a bit of a throwback linebacker who would give some immediate help against the run. Brady Lunt of NFL Mocks believes he can be that guy.

"“Players with the size and strength to be physical at the line of scrimmage and hard against the run can be hard to come by and add another dimension to any defense. Kentrell Brothers definitely fits this mold as the ultra-productive linebacker out of Missouri has done nothing but produce at a high level since starting at Missouri.”"

It’s tough to know exactly where Brothers will fall, although there’s a good chance he’s available in the third round at No. 88. In such a scenario, the Packers could fix a need and add another talent to the front seven.
