5. Adrian Peterson

Most 31 year-old running back’s with Peterson’s mileage are well within that stage where signs of wear and tear become visibly evident particularly in their diminished burst.

Peterson is one of the rare exceptions to that trend as he still possesses the ability to shake defenders and explode for long runs by using his topflight acceleration, lateral elusiveness and patient running style despite operating behind an inconsistent offensive line in 2015.

Overall, the Packers did a tremendous job of keeping Purple Jesus in check by limiting him to under 3.6 yards per carry in each of the two times they faced him. But this year could present a whole new set of challenges with the free-agent addition of road grader Alex Boone at left guard and rookie wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.

Treadwell, in particular, gives Teddy Bridgewater a big dynamic option on the outside that can help loosen things up for Peterson.
