Starter: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is one of the rising stars in the league, and he has become every bit the player the Packers hoped he would when they selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Clinton-Dix helped turn the Packers’ biggest weakness into one of its strengths. He was ranked just below teammate Burnett by Pro Football Focus, finishing eighth among 89 graded safeties, which is incredible for a second-year player.

Entering his third season, Clinton-Dix will take on a more senior role in the defensive backfield. After another strong postseason, he’ll look to build off of his success and become one of the best safeties in the league.

Backup: Micah Hyde

Micah Hyde made one of the plays of the year with his incredible one-handed, back-handed interception of Teddy Bridgewater. With an ability to play both safety and cornerback, Hyde is a valuable tool for Dom Capers.

Hyde filled in for an injured Burnett last season and put in a solid shift. He was ranked 53rd among safeties by Pro Football Focus.

Coach Capers’ defense thrives on versatility, and Hyde is another example of that.
