1. David Bakhtiari, LT

Entering his fourth year in the NFL, Bakhtiari has done nothing but elevate his game each season. He has developed into one of the top 10-to-12 players at left tackle thanks to his fluid lateral movement in pass protection.

His constant commitment to making gains in the size and strength department has seen the six-foot-four, 310-pound bookend also achieve modest improvement as a run blocker.

With youth on his side, Bakhtiari should be able to enhance his technique further in hopes of reducing his penchant for getting flagged. In 2015, No. 69 led his team in that area with 10 penalties.

When he’s at his best, Bakhtiari has shown he can shut down the very best edge rushers, including Khalil Mack.

The free-agent-to-be also gets high marks for his toughness in playing on a severely-injured ankle (five torn ligaments…yikes!) against the Cardinals in the playoffs and not giving up a sack.

Another admirable aspect of the left tackle’s game is his ability to bounce back from negative plays. Dwelling on the past is a prelude to disaster in the NFL. It’s great to see our boy, Bakhtiari, keep that to a minimum.
