Round 7 – D.J. Jones, DL, Ole Miss

With Letroy Guion’s four game suspension next season, Green Bay could use more depth on the defensive line.

Jones is a tough, gritty nose tackle with impressive strength, which allows him to hold the point of attack and take on double teams.

He may not offer much on passing downs, but he does possess enough athleticism in his 6-foot-1, 319-pound frame to move up and down the line and make stops against the run.

Here at the end of the 7th round, Jones is good value for the Packers. He gives them an early-down run stopper to rotate in in alongside Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, and Dean Lowry.
