Zach Brown, ILB

Back to defense now with a man that could help shore up the middle of the Packers defense.

A Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro last year, Zach Brown may not have expected to still be available this far into free agency. And the further his price drops, the greater the odds he lands in Green Bay.

The Raiders brought him in for a visit, but it appears the two couldn’t come to an agreement.

Brown was in need of a change of scenery after spending four years with the Titans, and he put together a great season under Rex Ryan in Buffalo. The fact Ryan was shown the door is likely the reason he isn’t yet re-signed by the Bills.

Until now no team has been willing to meet his contract demands, and the longer it goes the further his price drops. That’s good news for the Packers, who could get some veteran help at one of the weaker positions on the roster.
